The Makita DVC861LZ/2 is a corded and cordless vacuum cleaner powered by AC and two 18V Li-ion batteries in series. It is of Class L variety which means it removes 99.0% of dust with limit value for occupational exposure >1.0mg/m3.
This dry type dust extractor offers variable suction power by dial and is operable by both AC and DC, though AC takes priority if both are connected. It has a HEPA filter with high filtration capacity for clean exhaust air.
It has double insulation and other design features include; a large On/Off switch, dual battery fuel gauge, battery cover and AC pilot lamp.
The design also features a removable storage box and removable 5.0m power supply cord.
For safe usage, the DVC861LZ/2 has a large bumper which protects walls and furniture from bumps and scratches. There is also a caster stopper that prevents the cleaner from moving unintentionally.
Finally, this unit is compatible with commercial plastic bags.
