The Makita DHR241Z 18V SDS+ Rotary Hammer boasts a 22 minute charge time thanks to Makita's air cooled Makstar Optimum Charging System. Because the battery is lithum-ion it is 40% lighter, weighing the same as a 12 Volt Ni-MH battery, packing more power into the same weight and giving you up to 430% longer run time.

This rotary hammer features a conveniently placed push button for forward and reverse functions and user comfort is catered for by the high comfort grips. There is an LED work light to illuminate the work area, which also has an afterglow function. Bit changes are quick and easy thanks to the one-touch sliding chuck and the chisel can rotate a full 360 degrees, with 40 different locking positions for job versatility. This tool has three operational modes, rotary only, hammer only and rotary hammer combined.
