The Makita DTW181 is an LXT 18V cordless impact wrench with a 12.7mm (1/2") square drive. It's compact and lightweight design features a handy LED job light and an ergonomic soft grip handle for comfortable operation.

Other features include a brushless motor, forward/reverse rotation and an electric brake. The DTW181Z also includes variable speed control by trigger and a 2-stage impact power selection.

It also has reverse rotation auto-stop mode. This mode works only with pulling the trigger fully in counter-clockwise rotation. When the bolt/nut gets loosened enough, the tool stops the impact and rotation in 0.2 seconds.
