Makita KP001GZ03 40VMAX XGT 82mm Planer (Bare Unit) with Guide Rule and MakPac Case

The KP001GZ03 is a cordless 82mm Planer, designed for excellent performance in continuous, heavy duty applications, powered by 40V Max Li-ion XGT slide type battery (not included), to supply energy to the powerful 40V brushless motor, with soft start for smooth start-ups, to deliver up to 15,000 rpm, 1,100 W maximum output, for smooth planing for both rough and thin planing. The KP001GZ03 is equipped with lock-off function, anti-restart function, electric brake for increased operator safety, left or right chip ejection, spring loaded stand to elevate the base to protect the blades and the work piece, 2 blade cutter head, and easy blade setting system for faster blade installation.

The KP001GZ03 features front base with 3 chamfering grooves, adjustable depth of cut simply by turning the knob on the front of the tool, dust collection (dust bag), Auto-start Wireless System (AWS) to connect to a compatible dust extractor with Bluetooth for improved dust extraction and a switch to start up to the dust extractor via the Bluetooth technology (Chip 198900-7 required, sold separately) and battery protection circuit designed to protect the battery from damages due to overheating, over-discharge and overload current.

The KP001GZ03 is suitable for use with both standard planer blades and double-edge mini blades and has on tool storage for the hex wrench. Planing width 82mm, planing depth 4mm, maximum rebate depth 25mm.
