The Makita DPB184Z is a cordless portable band saw powered by 18V LXT Li-Ion battery with a brushless motor. It provides stable cutting thanks to a highly rigid aluminium structure, the compact design providing high portability. The design also includes a handy LED job light.

For safe operation, the DPB184Z features a lock-off button, electric brake and adjustable stopper plate.

The DPB184Z provides constant speed control as well variable speed control by trigger. Easy blade track adjustment is offered simply by turning the screw whilst the blade is also very easily installed and removed.
