Clarke MMA80 80 Amp ARC/MMA Inverter Welder (230V)

The MMA80 inverter welder is the perfect solution for both automotive and general repairs for DIY and garage use. It can weld iron and steel plate up to 3mm thick whilst it also the capability to weld nickel and copper.

The Inverter technology adds a considerable weight reduction in comparison to traditional transformer types making it great for portable applications. The unit weighs less than 4kg making it less bulky and better controlled than non-inverter, transformer-type welders, providing superior quality ARC welding.

The MMA80 also has a large current control knob that can be easily operated whilst wearing welding gloves. A clear digital display displays the variable output current.

Advanced functions included with this welder are Hot Start, which eases striking the arc; Arc Force, which gives a temporary increase of the output current if the arc turns too short; and Anti Stick, which switches off the power source if the electrode sticks to the material.

The MMA80 runs from a standard 13 Amp 230 Volt supply and comes supplied with an electrode holder, earth clamp, weld return cable plus a fixed Shade 11 Welding mask & carry strap.
