- Blue (coarse) 180 grit - suitable for sharpening knives, chisels, shears, and machine cutting blades
- Yellow (medium) 260 grit - use this for refining blades & sharp edges
- Red (fine) 360 grit - complete the sharpening process by adding a fine buff to the cutting edge
