40VMAX 260mm Slide Compound Mitre Saw BL XGT (Body Only) is an adaptable, durable unit designed for productivity and ease-of-use.
With a brushless motor, electric brake and constant speed conrtrol, your battery usage will be optimised, meaning that you keep the benefits of going cordless for longer than you might expect.
The Makita Slide Compound Mitre Saw also comes with an LED job light and soft start mechanism to maintain your safety throughout the day. As expected from Makita products, this mitre saw has a vast array of additional features designed with you in mind. Including, a rail-forward design that allows you to work with the machine close to walls, and an Auto-start Wireless (AWS) System that lets you connect to your dust extractor via Bluetooth, so that it starts up with your mitre saw.
In addition is a positive stop function that makes setting useful angles easy, but can also be disabled at thepush of a lever; an easy locking and release bevel angle; a large turn base and a one-touch sliding lock, all of which allow for a fine balance of precision and control.
