The Weller WPS18MP high performance soldering iron heats up and recovers three times faster than a standard home/hobbyist soldering iron. The 18 Watt iron heats from room temperature to 480 Deg C in just 35 seconds and delivers performance equivalent to a typical 60Watt iron. A red LED power on indicator turns green when the iron is up to temperature with another white LED shining right on the work place. Replacement soldering tips incorporate a modular plug for easy exchange.
