This is a compact bench mounted morticing machine capable of producing repeatably accurate mortices with ease. Tables are of cast iron, with machined dovetails for accuracy and each table can be moved independently forward and back or side to side to make accurate morticing simple. The column is also cast iron and dovetailed for accuracy making the machine substantial enough to minimise vibration and operate on timbers up to 120mm in height. Driven by a quiet and powerful induction motor this machine will easily cope with chisels up to 16mm
