This guarantees that the specified lighting power is maintained for as long as possible, avoiding a sudden loss of brightness. The service life of the Ni-MH batteries is optimised by a temperature sensor controlled by the microprocessor which avoids excessive over-heating of the batteries and allows them to be fully charged, safely and without risk of damage.
