A compact and powerful 18v cordless drill & power screwdriver, designed for heavy duty work, and powered by fantastic all new *Nano Phosphate Lithium Ion batteries which deliver 18v performance whilst only being the size and weight of a conventional 12v NiCd or NiMH battery. The drill itself is supremely comfortable & ergonomic in design, delivers controlled yet sustained torque, and has the capacity to drill up to 38mm diameter in wood. And it's all packed into super short housing with LED headlight for excellent accessibility to, and visibility in, confined or poorly illuminated work spaces.

DeWalts' Lithium Ion power packs all utilise Nano-Phosphate Lithium-Ion Technology that's unique to DEWALT. Each battery can successfully be recharged more than 2000 times, develops none of the 'memory' effect that occurred with older battery technologies, and discharge at a much, much slower rate meaning they can be stored fully charged and remain so for much longer periods of time than ever before seen!
