Diamond blades not only outlast regular abrasive discs by many times, they also ensure a cleaner, quicker & more efficient cut. The 9557NBD is ideal for cutting, grinding & finishing both metal & masonry products plus it's useful for removing rust or paint from metal surfaces, & even carving wood too (with correct accessories!).
